- This is the authors notes to Bondage
Boons.
-
- In verse 9 the word bore is
used in the sense gave birth to.
-
- In the last verse the word chasms
refers to the depths associated with the negative feelings of
bondage: pain, feelings of being trapped, despair, and panic
at not being able to get free. If you can pass over these feelings
then they can lead directly to orgasm.
-
- One of the best orgasms in my life occurred
when I thought I was permanently trapped in bondage that I had
tied and locked on myself. I had tried to get free and failed,
and my struggles had tightened my bondage making escape seem
even more impossible. I rested and was suddenly surprised at
the unexpected feelings of the beginning of an orgasm. Being
bound there was little I could do to hasten or impede it, and
it continued to grow until it took over my entire being and erupted
in a fantastic prolonged climax.
-
- After it subsided I lay still in gratitude
and wonderment. Then I began to worry that the juices I had
squirted out would stain the carpet on which I was lying. I
wanted to get free quickly to clean them up, but that seemed
totally impossible. Rather than continue the struggle I calmly
tried to think of other ways that might allow me to get free.
After about five minutes I thought of one, and 20 minutes later
was free. With great relief I vowed never to do that kind of
bondage again.
- This was early in my self-bondage career
when I had not learned about backup escape methods. And, as
you will suspect, if you have read any of my stories, that vow
did not last long.

- Inspiration
-
- The poem was inspired by the following
text which I wrote in a preliminary account of what happened
after the events related in my story Go Diva.
-
- Freedom can only really be appreciated
by those who have been denied it; the joy of closing ones
mouth can only be experienced by those who have been gagged with
a large ball gag, the wonders of sight appreciated only by those
who have been blindfolded, the pleasure of swinging one arms
while walking can only be felt by those who have had their arms
bound tightly behind them, and the joy of taking full strides
can only be understood by those who have been hobbled.
